What is construction waste? Construction waste refers to the debris, abandoned soil, materials, silt, and other waste generated during the construction, laying, demolition, and repair of various buildings, structures, pipelines, etc. by construction units or individuals. Nowadays, people have deviated from the traditional understanding of construction waste, so construction waste from different sources can be divided into four categories:

The first type of high-purity construction waste. This type of garbage originates from high-purity concrete and bricks selected during the leveling, construction, and demolition processes of mines, mainly composed of building or road main components.

The second type of low purity construction waste. This type of garbage mainly comes from the residual materials selected during the construction and demolition process, or the dismantled building accessories, so the soil content will be relatively high, and it will contain a large amount of long strip-shaped combustibles.

The third type is decoration waste. Compared to the previous two types, more complex construction waste comes from the waste generated during the decoration of new houses or the waste generated during the secondary decoration process. There will be relatively more large pieces of garbage and packaging materials in this type of garbage, and the content of soil and combustibles will greatly increase. At this point, this part of decoration waste is completely different from traditional construction waste.

The fourth category is mixed building decoration waste. It is usually a landfill or yard for construction and decoration waste, mixed with household waste, landscaping waste, large waste, industrial waste, and a small amount of hazardous waste, with the most complex composition.
