household waste classification

Household waste refers to solid waste generated by people in their daily lives or activities that provide services for daily life, as well as solid waste that is considered urban household waste according to laws and administrative regulations. Urban household waste mainly includes residential waste, market trade and commercial waste, public place waste, street cleaning waste, and school, enterprise and institution household waste; Since the reform and opening up, with the sustained high-speed development of the economy and rapid expansion of urbanization, China has become the world's leading producer of household waste after surpassing the United States. The problems of arbitrary dumping of household waste, extensive occupation of land, serious environmental pollution, and massive waste of resources caused by this have become important factors affecting environmental protection and sustainable development. Due to the fact that urban household waste is a mixture of various types of waste, whether to adopt sanitary landfill, composting, or incineration disposal techniques is an important prerequisite for achieving resource utilization, reduction, and harmlessness in the classification and treatment of household waste. In terms of household waste classification, developed Western countries have formed their own complete classification systems after more than half a century of research and experience accumulation, and have achieved significant results, which has important reference significance for China's household waste classification.

Sorting is a prerequisite and top priority for the treatment of household waste. Due to the complexity of the composition of household waste in China, there is a high dependence on comprehensive sorting during the treatment process, and the requirements for sorting equipment are also high. Single sorting cannot effectively solve this problem. Only through the combination of multiple equipment for comprehensive sorting can better results be achieved.

Based on the principles of reduction, harmlessness, resource utilization, and energy utilization in the treatment of urban household waste, a complete set of technical solutions for the resource utilization of urban household waste has been designed and produced. The waste is input into the waste sorting production line system and processed through process systems such as waste feeding system and waste automatic sorting system. Urban household waste can be sorted and utilized as follows:
1. Inert and non combustible materials - stones, sand, ceramics, etc., used for making environmentally friendly bricks, cement raw materials, or landfill;
2. Ferromagnetic metals - iron wire, iron cans, beer lids, etc., used for recycling and reuse;
3. Non ferrous metals - cans, aluminum alloys, aluminum, etc., used for recycling and reuse;
4. Plastic products - mineral water bottles, beverage bottles, plastic blocks, etc., can be used for cracking and refining, plastic recycling;
5. Remaining combustibles (wood, leather, clothing, scraps, etc.) - make RDF fuel rods for heating or electricity generation.

After urban household waste is processed by the system, metal objects are widely used as raw materials by processing enterprises; Fuel with a calorific value of up to 5000 kcal is considered an excellent fuel with high pollution, low efficiency, and high efficiency, and can be used in industrial boilers, waste incineration power plants, or gasification power plants. Specifically, the RDF produced by our equipment processing has high density, high calorific value, stable combustion conditions, and avoids the generation of dioxins and other substances. This not only reduces the investment in industrial kilns or power plants, but also enables stable and continuous operation of industrial kilns or power plants.
